Definition:

Examples:
Fred, the Australian, stole my wallet. Thus, all Australians are thieves. (Of course, we shouldn't judge all Australians on the basis of one example.)
ii. False Cause
Definition: the fallacy committed when an argument mistakenly attempt to establish a causal connection. There are two basic interrelated kinds.
Example:
It is dark now, which makes it very dangerous. [It is not the dark that causes danger].
